Orpheum Academy:

Grades K-2, "Let's Pretend"

This fun & exciting theatre program focuses on introducing students to the basics of theatre. Students will learn the fundamental elements of putting a show together by creating, memorizing and developing a presentation. At the final class, family and friends will be invited to the theatre to view the students completed project!

Grades 3-5, "Theatre Fundamentals"

A terrific theatre program focused on developing acting & performance skills through memorization, improvisation & acting games. Students will gain perspective on developing a show through creative and effective techniques. They will apply this to a presentation to be performed for family & friends at the final class!

February 2nd - May 3rd (12 weeks)

Grades 6-8, "Principals of Acting"

This exciting theatre program guides students through the craft of acting from start to finish. They begin with practicing and developing audition technique, move to improvisation and dramatic games, then begin memorization and character & scene work for their presentation. Students will explore their creativity, develop performance skills and gain a comprehensive understanding of theatre. They will culminate into a presentation to be performed for their friends and family at the final class!

January 29 - April 30th (12 weeks)

Grades 9-12, "Drama Workshop"

A more advanced theatre program designed to teach the fundamentals to understanding performing. A wonderful class for students who are interested in getting their "foot in the door" of theatre or looking to further develop their craft. Students will study acting and audition technique, improvisation, characterization & scene work. At the final class, family and friends will be treated to a presentation!

January 30th - May 1st (12 weeks)

Westwood Campus:

Grades 1-5, "Becoming a Performer"

This engaging theatre program focuses on developing acting & performance skills through fun & creative techniques. Students will begin with audition technique, improvisation, and acting games, then move to creating a presentation focusing on projection, character development, stage presence and acting techniques. Their completed presentation will be performed for their friends and family on the final day of class!
