NEW PLAY BASED ON THE BOOK "WAR LETTERS" BY ANDREW CARROLL






Bay Colony Productions, with special permission from Andrew Carroll (author
and founder of the Legacy Project), staged a new work entitled "Letters
From the Front: the story of the Second World War."

PERFORMANCES took
place on the on OCTOBER 31st at 8pm and NOVEMBER 1st at 2pm and 8pm, at the
Orpheum Regional Performing Arts Center in Foxboro, Massachusetts.

"Letters From the Front"
(conceived, adapted and directed by Attleboro resident and local artist
David DaCosta), chronicles the events of the Second World War as seen from
the American experience. Taken from the book "War Letters" (an anthology of
war correspondences dating from the Civil War through the Gulf War), Letters
From the Front focuses on both historical and personal events and
experiences of those who fought in the conflict and those they left behind.
This Two Act "Docudrama" takes letters from soldiers and their families,
bringing them and their experiences to life on stage, thus weaving together
the story of the Second World War. The story of the American soldier.


The cast included: Rachael Carney, David DaCosta, Nicole Davis, Sarah Gregonis,
Kristina Kattar, Brian Lemeiux, David Letendre, Linda Monchik, BK Nordan,
Jeff Prescott, Luke Riskalla, Bill Roberts.
